The source of this water is situated at Maliththa GS Division, 9 km from Bandarewala town along Bandarwela Atampitya Road. The whole area is a mountain retreat that dwells in the midst of lush tea and natural plantations. The area is resplendent with quality water springs and streamlets. Unpolluted waters gush from these untainted highlands and rich soil. The surrounding land is free from insecticides and pesticides while the trees which are abundant in the area serve to constantly recharge the ground water table.
